After service as Chairmn of the Council for nearly four years, Councillor Phil Childs had indicated that he was not going to stand for re-election at this year's Annual Meeting of the Parish Council on Monday 15 May 2017.

Councillor Lee Pilkington, formerly Vice-Chairman, was elected as the new Chairman, and Councillor Jonathan White was elected as the new Vice-Chairman.
