NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO10112) affecting the 1) C546 The Street from 120m south of its junction with U33192 Thompson Road for 260m southwards; 2) U33026 Northacre from its junction with C546 The Street for 330m north eastwards in the PARISH OF CASTON to facilitate the replacement of poles and cables.

 

 

The roads 1) and 2) will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 12th to 13th February 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 2 days within the period. 

 

 

Alternative route is via: 1) C546 The Street, C132 The Green / Stow Bedon Road / Rayners Falgate / Road From Watton Road To Rayners Falgate, A1075 Watton Road / Road From Thetford Road To Watton Road, C546 / U33192 Thompson Road, C546 Griston Road and vice versa. 2) U33026 Northacre, B1077 Carbrooke Road, C546 Attleborough Road / The Street and vice versa (Thompson, Griston, Caston, Stow Bedon, Breckles).

 

 

If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.

 

 

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

 

 

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
