On 12/13th April there was an excellent turn out for the 6 monthly clean-up. In total 22 residents turned up who cleared the ground, and the wall on the left hand (west) side of the cemetery.
The Church Council and the Parish Council wish to send a special thanks to everyone who was able to make it - especially the newcomers. We even had one or two from outside of the area! It makes a tremendous difference to our village, and the cemetery has never looked as good as this.
The Group had a follow up site meeting on Thursday, and we agreed on some specialist tree removal that is urgently needed to clear power lines and for the removal of some unsightly yew trees.
