Dog Fouling
There has been an increase in the incidents of dog fouling in parts of the village, particularly around the nursery in Sambourne Lane and outside the school in Coughton Lane.
Stratford District Council can issue on the spot fines to any dog owner who fails to clear up their mess that occurs in a public area. Residents are asked to report any incident to the Streetscene Team on 01789260616. The information they require is:
- Where the dog lives
- Description of the dog
- Descriptions of anyone walking the dog
- The time when the dog is in the area
- Associated vehicle registration numbers
The Parish Council is working closely with the Stratford dog warden and looking for any ideas, such as increased signage, dog bins, and warning notices, that may prevent what can be a very serious health hazard.
