How not to get rid of Christmas Trees
Don't put them on the village 'green' by the telephone box, or any other village open space. If you do you will be fly-tipping. Daventry District Council no longer collects trees from central points in villages.
Instead, leave your tree by the brown bin for pick-up with the next scheduled garden waste collection, which starts in Daventry District in w/b 18th January. Details for Cold Ashby are on the Daventry website.
You can also take them to the waste recycling centre at Brixworth..
