No elections needed for Parish Council

All other elections will, of course, go ahead as planned on 22nd May, but Cold Ashby has already done the job. The council has seven places and six eligible nominations were received, each one supported by local voters. These six (details later) are automatically elected, so there will be no ballot.
However, we do need number seven and the council can co-opt a councillor, who will have all the same powers and rights as the elected ones. If you are interested, keep your eye on this blog in future.
