Gigaclear comes to town
The coded white markings which arrived without warning outside your door mean the 21 century is coming to Cold Ashby. They provide guidance for the trench digger, which also arrived without warning, to lay cables for Gigaclear broadband connections to every house in the village. You get one whether yuo've signed up or not, I believe, in case a future resident wants to get a speedier broadband connection.
