Cold Ashby Parish Council

Rod Bailey was elected the new Chairman of the Parish Council at the meeting on Wednesday 2nd November. Rod, who has served on the council for almost seven years, paid tribute to his predecessor and said he had some very big shoes to fill! His acceptance of office was warmly received by other members as Rod took the chair for the rest of the meeting.

The parish council now has two vacancies for parish councillors. The latest will be advertised officially for 14 days, during whch time any 10 people on the Cold Ashby electoral register can ask for a formal election to be held.
