We heard this morning from a lady whose "dad lost his binoculars yesterday on a walk near Wadenhoe, he put them down while crossing a stile".

They were spotted but left there in case the owner came back by a villager this morning, hanging on a kissing gate, near the footbridge, in Achurch meadow.

Unfortunately, when 'Dad' went to fetch them soon after, they were gone.....perhaps taken this time for safekeeping?
