NE/22/00698/OUT - Hybrid planning application Thrapston

This planning application is for the development of a 144 acre business park on Land adjacent to Haldens Parkway, Thrapston, which would in effect link the Conservation area of Titchmarsh to the Market Town of Thrapston. Both settlements would be adversely affected by this change of use from prime agricultural land to industrial development at a time when we urgently need to focus on food production.

This is the Glebe Land that some of you objected to when the Diocese of Peterborough first mooted its intention to sell off the development option on this site , despite considerable opposition from the Churches and Parish Councils in our Benefice.

You do not need to plough through all of the 200 odd supporting documents that developer IM Properties have assembled, before you are likely to become concerned about this development.

If you care about preserving the integrity of the Nene Valley as an area for residents and visitors to continue to enjoy, please consider sending an objection to planning.ENC@northnorthants.gov.uk by 1st July 2022.

And please encourage your friends to do likewise.

From Planning, North Northamptonshire Council......
