Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Buckingham Palace has announced the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September 2022.

Her Majesty passed away peacefully this afternoon at Balmoral Castle.

Pilton, Stoke Doyle, & Wadenhoe Parish Council and residents extend their deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time.

The Parish Council has put a Book of Condolence for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for the three Parishes into Stoke Doyle church which will be open to sign from late morning Sunday 11th September 2022.

There is also a Book of Condolence in Achurch Church.

The Books of Condolence will be kept locally, and not sent to the Royal family in London, in line with their wishes.
