Each year Christmas lights are installed on Front Street in an effort to bring some Christmas cheer and hopefully increase the appeal of the town to resdients and visitors.

It is the council's intention to improve the lights each year, as well as ensuring fun-filled festivities at the switch-on event each November.

The Christmas lights are switched on, on the last Friday of November, each year and the contract for Christmas lights is currently held by Christmas Plus, a family run business from Keighley.
