Schedule of Parade and Service

10:30am         Parade Assembly:  Muster on the United Services Club (Legion) car park

10:50am         Parade Route:  March from the car park, turning right onto and proceeding along Front Street to the Lych Gate at St. Mary Magdalene Church

The Individual Unit Commanders on reaching ‘The Glade’ on Front Street where the ‘Royal British Legion Memorial Plaque’ is situated and will give the command ‘Eyes Left’ followed by ‘Eyes Front’ after passing the saluting areas.

The march will proceed through the traffic lights and will turn right at the Dr. Syntax halting at St. Mary Magdalene Church.

10:55am         Act of Remembrance:  Standard Bearers ‘take posts’ and ‘order standards’ and the parade will ‘stand at ease’.  The padre will address the parade and Standard Bearer’s will ‘carry Standards’.

The Chairman of the Royal British Legion will say the exhortation and Kohima Epitaph.

11:00am         Last post will be sounded and Standards dipped.

11:02am         Reveille will be sounded and Standards raised.

11:05am         Wreaths will be laid.

11:15am         Remembrance Service will held in the Parish Church, led by Rev. Charles Hope
